Bio
Shayne Connell is the National Director of LivingWorks Australia, the leading provider of suicide prevention training across the world. Shayne holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle and has 20 years’ experience in suicide prevention and training.
Shayne has delivered the LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and LivingWorks safeTALK programs across Australia and the world for Business, Government, Military and non-Government organisations since 2003. He has served as the Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Newcastle, Australia and on the Board of Suicide Prevention Australia.
